Sanitation

Adolescent girls in rural areas avoided going to school due to improper sanitation facilities. AM Foundation constructed sanitary blocks and new toilet facilities in these schools. The schools find these sanitary blocks very useful and the school authorities have been very appreciative of AM Foundation for their construction. They have helped reduce absenteeism in schools, preserve the personal health and dignity of children, and ensured clean surroundings.

AM Foundation has also supported the construction of toilets for individual householders in backward community settlements. The residents were provided with one toilet per household. This has helped promote a hygienic environment among these communities.
